AZ Hot Sauce to Offer Fast-Paced Summer "House League"

For the spring and summer of 2023, AZ Hot Sauce will be organizing a weekly "house league" for players of all ages and experience levels.

Teams will compete weekly in fast-paced 6v6 games patterned after the new Olympic "Sixes" format. "The idea is to really up players' stick skills and lacrosse IQ," said AZHSL director Dan Lannon. "Players will get a ton of touches, which will help them improve in a short period of time."

Players entering grades 2 through 12 are invited to join. The league will offer two games per week, with age-based divisions.

The youth league (entering grades 2 through 8) will span six weeks, from April 19 through May 24. The high school league will run four weeks, from May 3 to May 24. "I expect this to be a lot of fun," said Coach Ryan Berns. "These guys are going to have a blast!"

Registration is open to boys of all skill and experience levels who are enetring grades 2 through 12. Fees are $150 (K-8) and $125 (HS), which includes a pinnie, instruction and supervision, and 12 or 8 games.
