AZ Hot Sauce to Host Summer Team Tryouts, February 5
AZ Hot Sauce Lacrosse will be hosting tryouts for its competitive summer travel teams on February 5th, 4 pm to 5:30 pm at the Tempe Sport Complex, 8401 S Hardy Drive in Tempe, Arizona. Boys entering grades 5 through 12 for the 2023-2024 school year are invite to attend. Registration is required.
"We are coming off an incredible year of growth," said Hot Sauce founder and program director Dan Lannon. "And we're hoping for an even bigger year in 2023."

AZ Hot Sauce Lacrosse is Arizona's longest-running competitive travel program, focusing primarily on players from the East Valley and Tucson.
"There is some exciting momentum building in these areas," said JV head coach Kyle Mox. "Programs in Ahwatukee, Tempe, Chandler, and Gilbert are doing some amazing work with their youth players, not to mention the incredible efforts of the programs in Oro Valley and Marana."
“Our objectives are simple - find young men that care about others and are willing to constantly work to get better,” said varsity head coach Frank Ferrantelli.
The centerpiece of the summer tournament schedule will be the Adrenaline World Lacrosse Festival, June 29 to July 2 in San Diego, California. This unique event will coincide with the 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship, and players will not only get to compete, but to attend the final rounds of the World Lacrosse Championship. All teams will play in at least two tournaments throughout June and July.

The tryouts are intended for players who are new to Hot Sauce. "Every player who attends the tryouts will be evaluated by our coaching staff on the basis of their individual skill, athleticism, and attitude, as well as their "lax IQ" and teamwork skills," said Mox. "Based on our evaluation, players may be invited to an age-appropriate travel team.
Registration is required, as space is limited. Further information and registration links are available at www.azhotsaucelax.com. "
