AZ Hot Sauce Lacrosse Gearing Up for Fall Season

Following up on a robust summer travel tournament season, AZ Hot Sauce Lacrosse is looking forward to an exciting Fall travel season. The club expects to field three teams and participate in two tournaments, with a potential third.
Leading up to the start of practices, Hot Sauce will be hosting a positional clinic on September 25. The clinic will be led by guest coaches and focus on skills specific to defense, offense, face off , and goalie positions.
"Our focus on high-caliber coaching is really what makes Hot Sauce different," said Coach Frank Ferrantelli, coach of the Reapers varsity team. "We want to introduce our players to more advanced concepts than they will get elsewhere."
The positional clinic will run from 5:00 pm pm to 6:30 pm at Will Nolan Field at Vista Canyon Park, 16020 S 30th St, Phoenix, AZ. The clinic is open to all Hot Sauce players who are registered for the fall season.
In preparation for its Fall tourney schedule, Hot Sauce will resume regular practices on Sunday, October 16, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Practices will then run regularly on Sundays from 4 pm to 6 pm and on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 8 pm.

"We're really at our best when we play cohesively as a team," said Coach Kyle Mox, who leads the Scorpions JV squad. "Over the summer, I saw our teams getting stronger and stronger with each game. Building a culture is key to our success, and practices are the basis of that culture."
In the fall season, AZ Hot Sauce Lacrosse will be playing in at least two tournaments. The first will be the Legends Autumn Tilt tournament in Oceanside, California, on November 12-13. Later, the club will return to Oceanside for the Legends National Cup tournament on December 3-4.
"We enjoyed playing with Legends Lacrosse tournaments this past summer," said Hot Sauce director Dan Lannon. "They've been well-run, and the tournament organizers have been very attentive. We're looking forward to being back."
The club is also tentatively playing in a new local tournament, the Arizona Showdown, in Maricopa, Arizona, on November 19-20, pending sufficient out-of-state team registrations.
Limited rosters spots remain on the Reapers (Varsity), Scorpions (JV), and Ghosts (Jr High) teams. Players who are interested in joining Hot Sauce for the fall season can message the team via https://www.azhotsaucelax.com/.
